Hardie & Co. is a firm of English Solicitors specialising in cross-jurisdictional matters between the United Kingdom and France.

 

Susan Hardie the principal is a Solicitor of some 18 years standing, and prior to founding her own practice in 1999 she worked at a law firm in Central London.



She currently lives in France where she works, and has lectured to conferences of the French Bar on aspects of the English Legal System, to English solicitors and clients on French property and inheritance matters, and given lectures on English culture in Amiens. She has written various articles for books and magazines relating to French property and inheritance matters.

Susan speaks fluent French, specifically including legal terms, and acts in a variety Anglo-French matters, often in tandem with French Avocats or Notaires. The main areas of work include French property/inheritance matters, and cross-jurisdictional litigation. Susan is a member of the Institut de Droit Equin and the Equine and Animal Lawyers Association.
